Phil it was at Elsdon. About one mile south of Otterburn turn east. When you get to the village take the right fork for about 1 mile. When I was setting up the tripod the rainbow made a show

 

Would love to get the gallows when it is a bit misty!

Lovely photos especially Snatcher's bridge but i had to vote for the "Sheffield Steel" so evocative for me coming from /living in steel making valley

Thanks mate, only about 20 miles from me, i'll have to make the ffort to find it.

 

No broken bones this time, if I had I think that mrs dean might have broken my kneck.

 

Some success with your lures mate, had a snook at about 2lb on one.

 

No tarpon though, I only saw the one and he went for live fish only.

 

It's wierd seeing the bridge picture...............i love the bridge, as you can tell from previous entries, and I'm blessed with seeing it 48 weeks of the year as my office overlooks it, but for once it was nice to look at it and not associate it with work.

DrDoug, Post some pics, we all have to start somewhere! Don't be modest, if your not sure ask for constructive critisism. No one will be negative for the sake of it. We all learn on here from one another.

Shot Cameraman correct card. I just got my first digital camera back in September and am having a roar with it. I now view life through a different perspective - honest. I now "see" things I would never have seen previously.

 

As I say I am still a relative virgin at this game so post up your pictures mate and the lads will give you guidance
