Why threadline ,i thought that was an old term for braided cotton line which needed drying after each use

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

What fixed spool reels used to be called Chesters....and with modern braid, probably quite appropriate now again!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

I just ca,l them fixed spools like i always have but that was before i was born it was threadlines!

Suverans are nice though but only if they are quality hand built specials ,if its just another badged chinese clone with a bit of gilding then its not so good.

Like abus of old but the modern ones are just tat

I think all the Abu Suverans where made in Sweden....not China.

I ABSOLUTY don't belong in this thread. Some Abu Suverans were made in the US whilst the China plant was being readied. (that's as much a question as it is a statement)
