Do you have a bad Photograph

Steve Randles

Recommended Posts

We have a few people here who know their way around Photo editing programs and could help you make a not so good photo into one thats a joy to view. Not all problems can be fixed, but a lot can be so lets see what we can do for you here.

I would suggest that photos posted here be kept to a maximum of 800 pixels along the longest edge, if you cant do that for whatever reason then upload it somewhere on the web and post a link to it.

If your very lucky and the editor of your photo is happy to do it then maybe they will also work on your full size original too, although I suggest that is done after the fact and by private arrangement...and for free of course.

Yes, dont even bother untill its final!! Big company like Adobe charging what it does for its products then has the cheek to ask Joe Public to beta test it for them!! Plus I have heard on the grapevine that it will mess up any other adobe installs you may have too...and is not an easy thing to uninstall. There are one or two changes to RAW processing I have heard about which seem interesting, the addition of a vibrance control for one..same as lightroom has.

But anyway, back on topic for photo repairs....

For old none digital photographs, yes maybe we could improve/repair using todays Technology, but the above example, to me, doesn't give a good example of photograph enhancement.

I'm all for learning photograph enhancement, but some shots do need to be binned.

Any new or learned skills, using digital pokery to enhance old/new photographs, bring them on. I'm looking forward to learning some new ways of using Filters n Actions etc.

Snatcher I'm just adding a bit of personal CC, keep up the great work with that camera of yours. I'm looking forward to more fantastic sea shots, from the banks of Cullercoats + Any of that wonderful world of Northumbria.

Cheers 4 Now
