No- one champions the down trodden working man like cash, as a modern comparison, Elvis would be robbie williams, Cash would be a pete docherty (now theres a class album "the libertines") - "early one morning my making the rounds, I took a shot of cocaine and shot my woman down", you could mistake that as a modern rant by a jewlry infested rapper.

OK Computer - an album that brutally exposes our bleak modern day lives, an expression of contemporary age angst driven out by aggressive electric guitar drifts

 

Yes Meatloaf are good, but there reputation is built on that one testostrone fueled track, "yak out of Solent", oh no sorry "bat out of hell"
