Kirbyjohn - There are a lot of laws in place that are absolute BS and we all know it!  However if there are laws (or rules) no matter how daft, we have to obey them until they are repealed.  If you are a driver, how many times have you had to stop at a pedestrian crossing, because some rsole had pressed the button and walked across on red.  Stupid to stop BUT IT IS THE LAW and, hopefully, we obey it.  If we ran the red light we will be fined.  They "ran the red light"!!

I agree but in this case every one and his dog is running the red light and being waved through but nothing happens to them but the moment a person with a fishing tackle box runs the red light they are the only ones to be arrested. It still begs the question using your example why is there a red light here in the first place what is it function.

to employ a person to make sure the bulb doesent blow

the red light is there to keep the person awake to make sure the red light is lit.

its all for show ,security is like aldershot traffic wardens ,they never go outside the multistory car park to book illegal parking on double yellows round the town but concentrate on expired parking tickets ,make an effort to park legaly but a a few minutes late and your ticket expires you get a £60 ticket, make NO effort to park legally and park on yellows and get away scot free ,the answer i`m sure you can spot ,theres laws only for the law abiding, not the unlawfull

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Some more facts. The case brought by MD&HCo was not in connection with any new anti terrorist laws, it was stated in court today the prosecution ( or perhaps persecution ) is in reference to the " jetties and piers act " of 1848, yes no mistake 1848. The MD&HCo solicitor was not specific as to hoe this act relates to the use of a camcorder.

There were about 30 people outside the court to show support, Granada and BBC tv and several local papers. The solicitors acting for the lads have requested a bigger turnout on the 9th December.

Thanks to all who attended
