* Be sure to ask your butcher for calf testicles, not bull testicles. Calf testicles

are the size of a walnut and are much more tender than the larger bull testicles.

Reminds me of an old joke;

"I know Señor, but sometimes the bull wins"

I like them best grilled outdoors, preferably on charcoal. Worcestershire or A-1 sauce adds flavor mixed into the ground beef. Swiss, cheddar, or jalepeno cheese melted on top taste great, too. Buffalo burgers (bison) taste good too, but they're a bit dry because the meat is so lean.

Ever had mountain oysters?

The last Bison In the uk died on the end of a cave mans spear, apart for a few in zoo's so we will have to take your word for that :bleh:

But the woscestershire sauce and cheese bit sounds good to Me

Elton,

Pound of minced lamb, two crushed garlick cloves, three Oz grated ginger, finely choped onion, Five Table spoons of chopped coriander, season with salt and pepper, three tea spoons of Kolinar Madrass curry Powder,Kneed all the ingrediance together, and leave for an hour for the flavours to develop shape into pattis and BBQ over Charcoal,

Serve with pitta bread and salad  Oh yeah Loads of Beer!!!! :clap2:

Someone once said to me "Dont worry It could be worse." So I didn't, and It was!

I'm loving these ideas, but the misses has told me I've got to eat all the ones I've made so far before I'm allowed to make any more :D

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I bow to you FB, :notworthy: a lamb recipe that doesn't contain mint! Every commercially available lamb burger type product that I have come across is liberally laced with the bloody stuff! I know I could make my own - and with your recipe now will  - but not everybody likes mint and those that do can bloody well put it on themselves as far as I'm concerned. :2:

And another thing - why can't you buy lamb sausages? Apart from making your own has anybody seen any? And if you did were they stuffed full of bloody mint as well!

....Here's to swimming with bow-legged women....

Serve warm with your favorite hot sick bowl.

Ick. I can't help but imagine that a lot of steers are castrated each year in the name of gourmet cooking. I wonder if Matzo Ball Soup has calf balls in it? :yucky:

I thought this thread was going to be about home made burqas. I thought that would have been widening the cultural net quite dramatically.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

Totally agree!! I never understand these "supposed to go together" things. It's like 'pork and apple'. No, the only thing that goes with pork is more pork :)

If you do like cheese melted on the burger (cheeseburger) - Jan tried a thing she had read about that works really well.

Make a patty but much thinner than you normally would

Place your cheese on top

Make a second patty, also thin, and place it on top then meld the edges.

Severus - if you mix about 1/3 ground pork in with the bison meat it works really well. Very little change in taste but plenty of fat.

The farm shop near Rhug in Mid-Wales has a herd of Bison I think, might be buffalo, I can't remember now.

The farm shop near Brynsiencyn on Anglesey sells Lamb sausages with red wine and garlic which are delicious.
