But "The Mistress " has a big hole in her nose at the moment.

I have stripped the other Yak for a re-rig , so wont be out on that one either

Wont be long now though.

Are you getting out there on your new steed, practicing your re-entry drills ??

The dry suit is mid atlantic as we speak.. will be out asap next week sometime

 

Once I've had a paddle or two, will go after plaice on my first trip.

I'm waiting for lighter evenings then I can go out after work and drop them Thursday or Friday and pick up when I'm fishing Sat or Sun. Lobsters are nocturnal so traps need leaving overnight. So far only tested in the marina....

Yeah I'm almost there with my kit mate.. at least to get me in the water safely

 

still on the to get/make list: scupper plugs, paddle leash (will make one up this weekend), trolley, fish finder, flares (will be staying 'in harbour'at first with phone), plus lots of boat fishing goodies

 

hope to post some pics of a loon in xchurch harbour snorkelling and jumping off yak next week.
