Anger At Rising Cost Of Concessionary Rod Licences

One question on the original theme of this topic, how much should a concessionary license cost? Please don't come back with "half as much as a full license" or similar, I want to know how much in pounds & pence you think a concessionary license should cost :)

Making the most of it

Enough to cover the cost of the licence, administering and issuing? So even though they are not gaining they are not loosing?

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Zedhead - Truthfully please - How many "sickies" have you thrown in your life? That includes when you were at school? It has been said that the average worker in this country throws at least two a year!

A disabled person would love to be able to take a "sickie" when they are out of sorts but they can't as they are like that 24/7!!

What have you got against a disabled person?

Every thing goes up in price, nothing comes down. On the one hand the ea are giving an alledged 45000 extra licences at the cheaper rate but at a dearer cost. Instead of collecting 30,000 x 12.5

375k it could collect 75,000 x 16.75 over 1.2 mil, not a bad return for a bit of jiggling.

Don't forget that a third of the operating costs comes out of the taxpayers as the licence scheme does not generate enough dosh.

So you could look at how this agency spends your licence money and the taxpayers. One item that i have noted is:- Yes the pension fund. The ea has the 10th largest local goverment pension scheme and in the last two years it has won 7 awards.

Also in the paper today the cost of ordinary licences is to go up by 2.50 on the pain that if it does not then tough desisions on enforcement and fishing projects will have to suffer. No mention of money saving ideas or pension cuts, but as with all orginizations of this nature, it is the front line that has to suffer first. Tossers.

Quote: 'We will face tough desisions on priorities if rod licence duties and sales don't increase'.

Yer right.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
