Remember Rob Thompson?

Just wondered if any of you remember Rob from Game On. I had an email from him before Christmas, he has sold Game On and is now sales manager for Angler Pro. The best news though is that he has brought a Lochin 333 (Electric Blue) based in Lymington Hants and is catching some awsome Cod around the IOW area, 34lb best so far.

 

His Bass trips seem to be made in heaven so it looks as if I may be nipping over in the Summer for a weekend. I could do with a lift from Dover:-)

Alan, isn't Angler Pro the agent in this country for Powerpro Braid? I hope I am right and Rob gets a distribution net going, it would be good to be able to get some locally instead of the US.

As far as I can remember, Rob was distributing PowerPro some time back.

 

Never met him, but a mutual friend speaks highly of him.

Chris, he is up and running, I have not seen his site yet but I know they distribute loads of different lines.

 

I think his boat is a charter boat (quite sure)but having to pay for a day (or 2) Bassing with him should be worth it.

 

I am thinking of getting 3 other lads that I know to come over with me for a weekend but will check with Rob when the best time (fish and weather) would be.

A bit more expensive but I think 8 anglers would be enough.

 

I have had dealings with Rob before and found him to be a gent.
