Hi All! I'm trying to locate some threaded rod tips sections (female thread) to incorporate a quiver tip. If someone can set me on the right track that would be great!

Hiya Sask.

No help on the quiver tip bit but isn't the water starting to get hard up where you live?

Sask, they normally come as part of a tip ring.Do you want it like this ie a tip ring you can screw a quiver in or is it for a different job?

Brilliant idea Sask. Photos of completed rods when available, please.

We really need an AN "Ice fish in" dont we! Not sure the ice would take the pressure of me Elton and Newt in the same hut though!

I know I say it every time the subject is mentioned but ever since seeing that film (Grumpy Old Men?) where they are in the hut over the hole in the ice catching Walleye its facinated me!

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

"Ice Rods" are very short and used when fishing through a hole cut into thick ice. Usual is 2' or less in addition to the handle. He probably intends to use it as the entire rod if they are long enough (not gear I'm familiar with) or possibly he has a short section to put into cork and use the quiver tip for the remainder of the rod.
