That's been going on for some years. Swans are big birds and pretty easy to catch so it's only natural to expect them to be slaughtered for the pot. And yes they are protected but so what ? I suspect those caught would get a small smack on the wrist or a paltry fine that they'd never be able to pay anyway - if anything at all. Unfortunately it's a win win situation for them

How are you, havent heard from you for while?

I read this in the paper this morning, quite sickening, i always thought swans were highly protected?

I've been really busy mate, been working on a concept project regarding Fish, ;) spent so much time on it haven't even had time to go fishing!!! :o

Unfortunately it involves me erecting a shed in my field!and the Local Council aren't exactly helpful or quick!!!

Gave out planning permission to double the size of our local Tesco, permission for 500 homes about 2 miles up the road from me, probably permission for yet another major supermarket in East Cowes and permission to build a business and technology park on a field which has "Village Green" status about 1 mile up the road, but I want to put a 10x8 shed in my own bl@@dy field, tut tut

I thought of that but it's got to hold about two tons of water, If the wheels sink out of level would probably skew the frame and break the shed!!!
