Just go into your local Asian shop and look for a jar of Mixed Pickle, it'll be close to the Lime Pickle and it is far from sweet. It's like Lime Pickle, but has more than just Lime in it.

 

I'm on my way (not literally, but soonish) - we do have an Asian type shop in the high street. I've never been in there, don't go to the high street much, just to the butchers for calves liver and the card shop for birthdays etc..

......and I don't eat brie pakora either.   Cheddar on toast, well peppered and Worcester-sauced, is good enough for me - had some for lunch - delicious.

So will I. My grandad lived to be 84 and he lived in West Dumbartonshire. I don't recall him eating a lot of brie pakora though.

In india you can get the usual big jars of pickle but you can also get the single serving packages in strips from pretty much any shop. I've not really seen them on sale in the UK but it might be worth checking.

Not seen anything like that here and we have loads of Asian shops here.
