Seen it too..but the best car ad at the moment by a mile is the Polo one with the dog singing I'm a man (by a rather poor cover version of the Chicago hit) but very funny :D

As much as it pains me to agree with Rabbit.......he's absolutely right :D

i knw the feeling well, i live and drive in mostly build up areas but last year i went to devon for a weekend and the roads down there are similar in places. wide open space, you can see the road for probably half a mile in front of you, national speed limit..ish. its quite an invigorating experience being able to drive a car properly.

as for killing someone, thats why you dont do it in built up busy areas and take advantage when you are in the middle of nowhere where you CAN see for miles and miles.

Exactly. My 11 year old cousin was killed by a driver who wasn't speeding, wasn't driving recklessly and wasn't breaking any laws.

I'd have though that you'd stand more chance of killing someone by sticking to a speed limit in an urban area than speeding a bit on a visibly open road.

I'd have put my foot down a bit there, too.

its a well known fact if a car goes over 56mph serious brain damage occurs .outside towns the speed limit is purely a money making convenience ,notice how the most dangerous bendy country roads dont have speedlimits (besides the "national" one) what! they are really safe you cry? no they'r so bendy plod cant get a decent response on the speed camera's

My old man was knocked down by a car and died, wasn't his fault wasn't the drivers fault but i still think it's better for everyone to drive to the posted limits

my mind not only wanders-- sometimes it leaves completely.
