Stewards have declared it a "racing incident"

 

I think Rosberg was at fault, he lost power cos he was on the wrong engine setting which gave Hamilton an advantage, and he said afterwards:- "I was aware of the situation and saw Lewis coming closer, so I went for the usual racing driver action of closing the inside line and closing the door as early as I could. I made it very clear I wasn't going to leave any space on the inside and I was very surprised he went for the gap," the only thing wrong with that is that Hamilton was already in the the gap and consequently Rosberg ran him off the road.

Hamilton takes the blame in my book. He was so frustrated at being passed by Rosberg at the start that when he got the much better drive out of the third corner he saw that as his chance to re-take the lead. Rosberg knew he'd be passed so he covered the inside line to the next corner quite legitimately with one continuous move to his right. Hamilton should've backed off as soon as he saw Rosberg moving over but then he would have lost momentum. Had Hamilton not passed then he wouldn't have had another chance

It's ridiculous to blame Rosberg. The trailing driver has always had the responsibility for avoiding contact in this situation. Look at the previous 3 turns. Rosberg's intentions were quite clear. Hamilton just got ants in his pants. This was the 1st lap for Christ sakes.

Rosberg screwed up his engine strategy, was distracted fiddling with his wheel and didn't see Hamilton until too late - and then tried to close the door. IMO.
