good swap or not?

well i'm going fishing on monday and wanted some sweet corn . supermarket shelves empty of any tins! then my son comes home and i tell him my problem. hang on dad he says and goes into the kitchen and gets a tin of sweat corn, excellent says i. you can have it if i can have that half bottle of southern comfort you have. bugga it i'd rather have the sweet corn anyway, deal done! lol

I would drink the alcohol and drunkenly try and dig worms ,or more fun go worm hunting at night with a torch on a lawn if its warm enough for them to go hunting leaves

good choice - no doubt the southern comfort had served its intended purpose. You know that because its been around longer than the tin of corn.

I remember finding a jar of hardy's wheat (did we have sweet corn or just maize in the 50's?) ,it obviously had been opened some years before and left for a kid to find in a jumble sale i nearly puked opening it it had fermented and assides from sniffing cloudy ammonia the worst smell i ever sniffed!

If you knew your way around the kitchen a bit better you could have had both! 😀

Was the tin of sweetcorn one YOU'D paid for anyway - in which case a bad swap!!

Did you check the Supermarket Freezers?? (It comes in frozen bags as well) CHEEKY KIDS!!
