A brief look at issue 444, on sale 3rd-30th September, 2009

Issue 444 of Sea Angler is now on the shelf, with the cover promising to show you how to catch your first cod in 2009. Also mentioned are a brand new boat for £1,600, wild water bass action, and an £80 saving on a bass outfit.

In the editor’s introduction, there’s mention of a North East angler being prosecuted under Section 2(i) Amenity Act 1978. It appears that setting tyres as crab shelters now falls under the definition of “abandonment of cars or parts of cars”. Incredible!
