  3. Mine is still in the hallway, I dont trust anyone. I am going to build a yak coffin for it in the garden soon (well eventually) Bad news when that happens I hate leaving it on top of the van outside the house when I load the van the night before. Hope it turns up soon
  4. I have a few Euroboat rods as recomended on here, they are great rods and a very good price. I tend to buy cheaper rods but good reels. The rods are cheap but are also very good I do have better rods but always tend to use the euroboats as they are just the right size! Mullarkeys do good deals on the shakespeare euroboat and you get to pick your colour too

  12. Still not used my pot, it is the same as yours! Good report!
  13. GB, Rich L, TPW and me fish pembrokeshire! Personally I would not buy a big game. get the new prowler or the prowler elite! There are a few 'dealers' local but dont sell every kayak but they should be able to order them in. Try before you buy. I have a prowler 13 and between us we have a good variety. You are welcome to try mine anytime. speak soon. Stu
  14. White Water Consultancy do most of the scotty range now. Have a look on their website or ring (01267) 223555.
  15. GB, Rich and me today went for a 10-11 mile paddle. And we did catch a couple of fish. We saw a few seals and a family of porpoise thingys, the really small ones. GB took some good pictures of them. GB had a huge mackerel. The Head and another The boys having a good chat My FISH, a pollack. I caught it on the same lure as I had the bass on last week A good day out but fishing was slow and the forecast of 25 degrees was nowhere to be seen
  16. GB, TPW and I went fishing yesterday. We started off at Freshwater West at 10am but by the time we got to the beach to launch it was too rough. GB decided to be brave and try and get out first TPW and I were getting ready After waiting a while we decided to try Stackpole. We got there and managed to get out no problem as launching is from a little cove! We paddled across to the head It was lovely and calm and the sun was shining on us. I was first to catch, a nice coalfish TPW caught a nice sized mackerel straight after me. GB and Tpw then paddled off to the beach for some late lunch. On my way over I caught a Bass in one of the coves Just after I parked the yak on the beach our eyes nearlly popped open. These girls were running across into the sea in the nude Happy days, one of the best food breaks we had ever had. The beach was packed but they did not seem to care! We covered about 5 miles and had a good day. We probably would have caught a lot more fish but due to getting there late we missed the high tide.

where about under the kayak do you put the trolley? I put mine just behind the seating area, underneath of course
  19. I am in debate with myself on what f/f to get and how to install. Dont want to fix permanently in case I get an additional kayak, so a portable f/f may be the answer but not sure how suction cup thingy will work. My Garmin 80 f/f transducer was fixed permanently to my old kayak so I had to sell it with the yak
  20. Good report and a nice Bass! What weight would you guess it was?
  21. GB your supposed to be 'working'
