  10. Was under the impression (probably wrong again) simply put that Ferox were Brown Trout that had turned canibalistic in fresh water and Steel heads were Rainbows that had been to sea. [ 19. June 2003, 07:09 PM: Message edited by: Eddie ]

  12. Thank you Chris for setting the comp and putting yourself up as the prize, but due to circumstances I shall not be taking you up on your splendid offer. With this in mind I would like, if you don't object, to offer the days fishing with yourself to runner up DavidP. If David is unable to take up the offer I will take the gallery prize whatever that is. Thanks again. [ 18. June 2003, 11:27 AM: Message edited by: Eddie ]

  19. Do you meam Pol Vitamo? In a little brown bottle with a brush applicator? If so yes I've tried it,but not successfully, but to be fair I did not give it the benefit of a full testing, just tried it when nothing else was working, it did'nt either.
  20. Orabase, get it from boots.
  21. This may help or hinder the arguement. LEGERING: Sometimes written as "Ledgering". Though I believe incorrectly so. It seems likely the word is derived from the french 'legere' meanining 'light', for this style of fishing if properly carried out gives the lightest of resistance to a fish picking up and running with a bait. (Colin Willock, The Anglers Encyclopedia, 1960.)
  22. Suppose someone should wish the old fart Happy Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
