Bought the RT uptider some 2/3 years ago with the Okuma reel. Can`t really fault either bit of tackle. You gets what you pay for, for general fishing they are sound. Dave

Salar, that is the same rig I use out at the Needles except I use 6/0 top and bottom for double squid. Horses for courses I suppose. Dave

Out in Madiera the locals were using ckicken breast to very effect.Even saw Red Snapper caught on it. Dave

Make sure all the edges of the glass are clean by giving them a wipe with some meths before applying the silicone. Could get a bad seal other wise. Dave

Don`t know what are vibrating in your pocket Salar but I hope I don`t have to take a soldering iron with me on the trip. lol. Thanks for the info guys. I have always used double squid on a pennel rig from Bembridge, just this is the first time to the Needles for quite a few years. Dave
