    caught much?

Same license covers you for both Nathan, read it. Coarse and non migratory trout.i.e. Sea Trout. Dave
  2. Hard backs about the size of a 10p are great for Wrasse Paul I agree. Also the amount of hard backs inside Cod, but never heard of a Cod being caught on them. Hermits are a great bait for Smoothies and Spurs though as I am sure you know. Dave
  3. The easiest way I have found is to place your lighter or match at the back end of the shell. As it warms up the crab comes shooting out. Saves damaging them with the hammer. Dave
  4. All this just for the Big Band Sound Dave
  5. Ten gallons is way to small to try a tropical marine set up. I think you will find reading books on the subject they may reccomend 50 gallons minimum. Go as Chesters suggested but in my mind it is still on the small side of things. The smallest native marine tank I had was 600x600x350 wide. Hopes this helps you in your decision making. Dave
  6. Works a treat for me as well. Dave
  7. Norrie the tele rods have changed so much over the years. I always take one when fishing abroad, had no problems with them as yet. I think you will be surprised if you do get one. As most of the fish I would have thought will not be huge don`t get one to stiff in the tip. Dave
  8. Cheers Newt. Just got rid of 201 something or other after running AD-aware. Now the underling has GONE. Dave
  9. Tell a lie it is still there. I shall have a look at your idea Newt. Johnny Boys has not worked. Dave
  10. Cheers guys. Found something in the add/remove. Shop at home and removed it. All is fine again now and no more underlining. Where the xxxx did that come from. Dave
  11. Is it just my P.C. or are the words in some threads that are underlined ( hyper links) the norm now. Take a look in the sea forum, Nobbys post fishing sea lochs, Dales reply has the word Travel underlined and when you put the cursor onto it it is a link to Priceline.com Just seems to be everywhere I go now. Dave P.S. It has happened in this post. Look at travel. [ 04. March 2004, 08:31 PM: Message edited by: fisherman ]
  12. At a rough guess Nathan I would say, Bognor Pier is in Bogner. Dave [ 29. February 2004, 11:08 AM: Message edited by: fisherman ]
  13. Ed try some Decievers and/or Clousers for your Bas and Pollock, Mackerel should take them also. Dave
  14. How about Swordtails. (I prefer the green natural) Platys, corydorys, Pearl Gouramis. Stay away from Mollies unless you have a small amount of salt added to the tank. Zebras, Mountain Minnows, the list is quite large for a community tank. Have fun. Dave
  15. Have a look at the thread I just brought back up. ( fishing in Madeira ) It may help you a little. Dave
  16. Just bringing this up for St Pierre. Dave
  17. Anyone know how this is fishing from the shore? What if anthing I am likely to catch? Going down on Thursday for 10 days so here`s hoping. Dave
  18. Belated greetings Leon. If that`s what happens at 60 then I can`t wait to get there. Dave
  19. Dale where are you staying? Go to Ribeira Brava, through the small tunnel to the left of the shore and you will find a concrete pier sort of thing. Quite a few locals fish there from some concrete platforms. Some good Red Snapper to be caught there. The locals use Frangu (spelling) this is chicken breast to catch very small mackerel type of fish then use that for the Snapper.Further down the coast there are quite a few more of the same marks. As for boat fishing, this depends on the time of year you are going. April and the Tuna are still in. June and the Marlin are there. Between these times are the cross over point between the two. I went with an english skipper from the Portsmouth area. I think his name was Ron Dowling, good skipper if you are after the big game fish. Hope that helps a littlt. Dave
  20. Same here Chesters. Thats what you get for not reading things properly. Dave
