About this time last year, my wife and I stayed in Windermere and while on a boat trip to and from Ambleside, I spotted a couple of anglers reeling in big fish around the High Wray/Wray Crag area.

Bob, when I first started fishing, I blanked for 6 sundays on the trot, all around me was catching, on almost the same set up when I finally hooked one (3 inches long) It was heaven. stick at it, you wont regret it.
