  1. The one on the left is saying.... "I gave you that bottle of water to wash down the viagra not flush out the rapala"
  2. if this all went wrong with SP2 upgrade you may be falling foul of the 'new' firewall install.
  3. Blimey Snatch........ they arn't pictures...... they are advertising posters.....
  4. Ummmmmmmmmmm, not wanting to put a stop for your crusade about the reciept but you are entitled to make a claim for VAT rebate without providing evidence of purchase... ie a receipt as long as the total amount you claim per tax year is under (I think) £300 and you have made the purchase by way of an automated machine..... Notwithstanding this Tescos are under a duty to provide you with a receipt but hey..... Pay Peanuts.......... employ monkies
  5. If you can't ping each others comp then you have made a mistake mate.... I know it is easy for somebody on the outside to say and after spending hours in the past pulling my hair out you are not alone. The network setup wizard does work.......... have you tried going back to basic basics, is the network card of each comp OK, look under device manager and check for conflicts. Very often with Comps it is the most silly reason for things not to work... But as I said before, I have set up networks in the past and found they just will not work, you check everything and it is ok but still no network...... XP does have to establish a heirarchy, its daft but sometimes the Comps on the network seem to battle as to who is where on the list, when they settle and it works it will continue
  6. Watch this space with interest guys, After a couple of months and many hours of work your dreams are about to be realised
  7. Have you tried the network setup wizard on XP. Can you 'ping' each others comps can you map network drives?
  8. Hi Nick......... Not followed this topic from the beginning so unsure where you are at........ Common fault for problem you descibe is that you have not 'shared' your drives on each machine. I have encountered similar problems with my networked PC's at home and it is queer that sometimes the system needs a few goes to start up and establish a heirarchy, after this is done it will continue
  9. "There is more recorded evidence to support the theory of the Existance of Extraterrestrial beings than there is to support the existence of God. If you say you believe in God you are accepted. If you say you believe in ET you are riddiculed"
  10. Come on guys get looking and bidding..... This was my son's idea whilst I was away fishing. By the time I had returned three days later he had still not come home and waited another few days for me to calm down enough  Bargain Car
  11. Phone them and see if they will take a CC mate. its a lot cheaper. Banks charge about £25.00 for a CHAPS transfer irrespective of the amount sent. You can get a 'Moneygramme' from the Post Office but send it to a trusted source as you can be defrauded easily with them and Western Union. If you trust the firm get the price in Euros and send them the cash recorded delivery with the Post Office.
  12. I think we all do matey, but if they are going to die anyway (for whatever reason) better to be eaten than pot bait where most of the catch is destined.
  13. The Neddles Cod Championships are on at the moment, Wed&Thurs. as soon as I hear I will make a post.......
  14. LOL Graham.............. I tried snorting Coke once but the bubbles made me sneeze, think I will stick to drinking it.
  15. There is a special silicon adhesive for fish tanks, I used it once to fix a leak in my glass houdini hatch. It is a bit more expensive than the other silicon tubes but wont poison the fish if you cure it per the instructions that come with it.
  16. Armchair Angler Alan, not for long I hope I know how that feels, spent almost 2 years hardly able to walk and in and out of hospital but chin up mate, things usually get better. As i said I know how you are feeling but wont pry on an open forum. If you want a shoulder to cry on feel free to pm me, I have been through a lot and a problem shared etc, although I note that you are not without your share of friends on here I do indeed fish the Needles a lot, but at the moment the Cod Championships are underway so I tend to stay away from the bickering and the radio calls that somehow my Boat is in some charter skippers 'spot' which I didn't realise he had purchased from some Sea Registry office  Never tried smoking Pout but was talking about various things re cooking them as some of the fish we caught were blinders well over 3LB. (and probably will get bigger everytime I tell the story ) I have tried cable ties for a trip but they usually fail when I dont want them to. And at certain times of the tide you need a lot of lead, even with Braid, to hold the bottom around here.
  17. Gurnard not edible............... Shame on you.........(but forgiveable!) A while ago I was ignorant of the mighty Gurnard as well. but we all learn........ Two years ago I was fishing in Galway Bay (Eire) on a charter boat and caught a strange fish. After I unhooked it I showed it to the skipper of the boat asking what it was..... "That's a tub gurnard" he said and as I flipped it over the side of the boat he followed with "Keep a hold of that, it is well over the Irish Record and the biggest Tub I have seen in 20 years.." I called it back but it didn't come
  18. HiHo Newt............. I understand that it is titanium in the claws... the 'gap' in the middle is Nylon ringed by cobult chrome to mark the space as the plastic wont show up on the xrays..... All in all it cost me £35,000 so if it rusts I shall be complaining..If I attract a mine and it blows up I shall count on you to issue a protest Salar, If you mentioned my real name to the crew of the Hants Police Lauch they would shudder!!!! It's not a mitchell........... Its a Seaward (similar but different) and was made on the Isle of Wight....... Please don't feel inferior just because you live in a second rate County.... One day we will accept the Mainland as part of the Isle of Wight and you can enjoy the protection of a land unconqoured and not blemished by the foreign aspects of your own heritage........
  19. Salar, Yes there was a ggod swell running, I was fishing with 1 1/2lb of lead to hold the bottom!!!! I have my anchor 'tripped' to counter such an accourance, unfortunately I asked a crew mate on the last trip to re tie the trip, (I use 1 Metric Tonne breaking strain line for my trip) and he retied it for me, what I didn't realise was that he doubled over the trip several times before tying it............. My fault......... should have done it myself or have noticed the error. I had a choice after the windlass had refused to pull up the line (it has a 4.6 tonne pull) and manouvering the boat to pull out the anchor had failed (I only have a 250hp engine!!!) to cut the line or lose the front half of the boat, I decided to cut the line Who cares................ anchors are cheap, will whip across to Pompey soon when the tide is high and nick Salar's off his boat demon
  20. Is that another rumour or do you know for a fact that Leon wears a Bra
  21. Okay Tack4 point taken, we do not want to be reported in todays climate of Political Correctness.... Here for the benefit of all, irrespective of race, creed, colour or ability is the offending picture reposted.......
  22. Remember he's on foreign land (the Isle of Wight), and has our sympathies. Many things have not yet been invented there.... Salar, Have younoticed that all the guns on the Island actually point towards Portsmouth.......... demon
