  1. what about the cliche "3 second memory" of fish? Surely they would forget the pain as soon as they had even experianced it anyway.
  2. I doubt it would, are u talking about the line being wrapped around the float when the float rubbers are in place? Even if it would, it would b only for a short time, movement in water compared air would ensure that there is less movent that u might imagine?
  3. I find sweetcorn is the best method of pre-baiting for tench, its cheap 2! Raking the swim is important, and tench love the disturbance.
  4. Irish anglers swear by it in their groundbait
  5. 42 kbps on 56k not bad me thinks
  6. I used 2 do alot of airsoft shooting in teams with my friends, running around a forest at night all the camo gear.. Only light was torches and it was (&^@" scary at times Great fun and gives one an idea of how the special forces work, only they dont do it for fun
  7. I live down in Fivemiletown if u know it? Direct from Belfast more or less on the M1, do alot of fishing on the Erne and nearby lakes. If u fancy commin down here let me know..
  8. shimanos repair service and general quality of goods is second to none in my opinion.
  9. I belive a really great angler comes with years of practice and learning from other anglers on the bank. No matter how many books and magazines you read, its going out and observing/doing it yourself that gets the results, especially in match angling. Im 18 and fish matches regularly on the Irish circut. I have learned alot of the skills I now know from an angler called Tony Kersley whome I greatly admire and think without a doubt hes one of the best anglers around. I would personally think that this angler is gifted, but he says himself that it all comes with persistance, confidence and time.
  10. Command and conquer red alert 2 is a great tactical game, war game really lots of strategies and VERY addictive when played on the internet against other people. Try it and i promise u wont b dissapointed.
  11. 17 here, although some say im older

  13. greg, which part of ireland are you? Im Enniskillen... anywere near?
  14. Was catching 2 and a half pound roach by the dozen on the Erne 2 weeks ago, there common place at this time of the year on certain parts of the Erne/Shannon system. Although thats not to say a 2 and a half pound roach isent a bloddy good fish! Well done, and keep it up.
  15. Is that a mobile phone to the left?
  16. best reel money can buy.. what you planning on using the reel for?
  17. Nice one Gaffer, RHCP are simply brilliant!
  18. Good point, but for lure fishing (the rare time I atually do it) I prefer a fixed spool. On the other had, my mate says Shimano multipliers are not all there cracked up to be...But thats just his opinion.
  19. Shimano Stradic 4000 is ideal for lure fishing with those size of lures. I do alot of heavy duty feeder fishing in Ireland with a Stradic 4000 and ive had mine for 2 years. I have still yet to see anything go wrong with it... Shimano by no shadow of a doubt do the best reels money can buy, and in the past, reels that I have bought (diawa, browning, abu) they really just do not compete.
  20. Nothing really just information about the fishing people have been doing lately in Ireland. Im heading off 2 Belturbet my self on the 1st, i hear the fishing aint so good down there right now but its a far cry from what it is right now in Enniskillen, anyway it should be good "craiq" PS Jack Tisdale.....anyone who fishes in that club does it for the money and not for the love of the sport. If your friend match fishs for pleasure and not for money get in contact with Tony Kersley, thats the club to be in, im a member my self and its great :)Further details can be obtained from Jack himself the &$£$@#
