  1. Nice Dab there, well done!
  2. Was hoping this would turn out slightly better. However, for a 65 quid camera I'm quite pleased. Much better than my old one that's for sure. Make = Vivitar Model = Vivicam 4100 Exposure Time = 1/349" F Number = F3.5 ISO Speed Ratings = 50 Any tips for getting a better sunset shot? Also took this Make = Vivitar Model = Vivicam 4100 Exposure Time = 1/435" F Number = F3.5 ISO Speed Ratings = 50
  3. Great report and pics. Well done on the trips, great catches. Lovely fish too.
  4. Definitely catching my first Grayling and with it plenty of trout all caught while on holiday. Easily the best trip I've had away, staying in the most fantastic house with the River Dove running through the garden. Trotting maggots on a size 18 every day steadily catching trout averaging about 1lb 6oz. On virtually the last cast I caught my first ever Grayling and I was so pleased...what a way to finish the holiday! Fantastic The Grayling: The best trout of the trip:
  5. Plenty of mullet about matey
  6. Very impressive shot mate, as they all were! Congratulations
  7. Cracking addition Elton.
  8. They work pretty well Davy
  9. Good luck Ian. Look forward to hearing how you get on. Where you off to, Pakefield?
  10. Good luck, it will be interesting to hear the results.

  12. My favourite catch was when me and my family were on holiday. We stayed in the most wonderful house and the River Dove was running right through the garden. We arrived in the afternoon, and had about 30 minutes on the river. I was trotting maggots with a size 18 and 3lb line straight through. I hooked into a fish after 5 minutes but unfortunately it came off. But I was pleased to know there was fish in there. The next day was great and after 10 minutes of loosefeeding a few maggots I started to trot. After about a dozen runs through I hooked into a fish. I was expecting 4 inch trout, but as the rod started to really bend I couldn't believe when the trout jumped. Unbelievable fight from a wild brownie and I was so pleased to land it. Not massive but at the time it seemed HUMUNGOUS! I was so happy. On the last day we were there, and virtually the last cast I hooked my most memorable catch to date, a Grayling. I was so happy after I slipped the net under it. They're great fighters!
  13. When selecting your tackle, there's a bit at the bottom right of the screen ( I think) which says Rod 2. Click it, set it up, and then when choosing the rod, you need to tick "Use this rod" to the right of the rods page. Hopefully that makes sense.
  14. Great report John. Well done, sounds like a busy session. Any keepers? That last whiting doesn't look too bad
  15. Great report and pics Vagabond, really enjoyed that. The water looks amazing, so blue and clear! The weather looks pretty nice too Loved the shark pic, it's amazing how many other fish are in the pic. Thanks for sharing
  16. Nice fish Jeepster, and are you sure that's you in the pic......you look normal!?!?
  17. Download Dream Lakes, fish Peg 3 (I think) and cast 2 rods to the bush on the right. Using any boilie, my most succesful have been "single hookb. halibut" or wild cherry. Use strong tackle, and just freeline. I've had cats to 69lb, and carp to 57lb. Instant bites, if you can't catch on there, you may as well give up
  18. Saw it in the paper this morning. Couldn't believe it when I saw it, thought it must have been caught somewhere other than Norwich
  19. Around three years properly. I started when I was 7, but only had the 1 or 2 trips a year. I was 12 when I was going constantly, and still am.
  20. I get stuck by the picture frame bit. I released the ball from the wheel and it just took me straight back to the beginning. Edit: Just got past that bit
