OI OI, You could always try floating dog biscuit on a pellet band or hair rig a floating boily if you do use a controller float make sure you have a long hookl lenth happy day's the carp should hook it self.

OI OI, I have two in my garage stopped using mine as i get loads of grief with the bale arm spring's, Sick of repairing them on the bank. i now use browning's a lot better ( for me ) thats the syntec.

OI OI, Janet brilliant report as always shame about the lost fish, I tie my own hooks & put a dab of superglue on the knot's. As you say some of the places i fish are quiet & peacfull & sometimes when the sun is out birds singing i always say if i catch a fish it's a bonus.

OI OI, I dont know how your canal fishes, but when i used to fish canal's i always used maggot, casters, bread, & breadcrumb, i think you can have to much bait sometimes my fishing pals take the p**s out of how much i carry so it's out the bag (but hidden in the boot, just in case).
