Switch over to Vegemite

Its NOTHING like Marmite !

Mind you, I like Vegemite, and eat my share when in Oz, but it is a mild-flavoured substance - you need to spread it as thick as peanut butter.

I've not noticed a change in Marmite, but I wouldn't dream of getting the squeezy bottle version.

On a similar vein, I noticed the other day that you can now see though draught Guinness. I'm sure it used to be much darker than it is now. I drink it rarely, and then usually when I'm not at my best, so maybe my memory is playing tricks with me.

As far as eating it goes i bought the tesco own brand just to see what it was like and it seems to be more like the old stuff. And a lot cheaper.

Now THAT could be a useful tip, will look into Tesco's next time I'm in Uckfield. Thanks.

But, (if it works like cory says), were you surrounded by every cat in the district? :D

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Tony i had forgotten about that

used to keep us going when on night duty along with the welfare orange that came in small bottles ,as I was training to be a children's nurse we had to make large jugs of it every night ready for next morning....in the summer with ice lovely ............. mind you i think it must have been ful of sugar as seem to remember it was quite sweet...
