P.S. I should say thanks to Julian, who has fielded umpteen questions on the subject in order for me to get this far :D

I've read up on particle blends, but never really tried them, I use plain old hemp, just loads of it. with a few hookbait samples catapulted over the top

Allibee - Cost is the reason for preparing my own, Dynamite hemp £2 a tin (500 Grames?)

CCmores, £13.75 for 20 kilos, a little bit of time spent preparing your own saves a hell of a lot of money when you use it by the bucketload!

I use partiblend, hemp, maples and wheat.

Sometimes mixed toghether, somestimes on their own.

I have added vials of ultrabite to the water while soaking. dont know if it made a differance, just got sick of the stuff sitting in my cupboard.

Wheat takes colours and flavours on with ease.

I have bags of them all in the Freezer incase the chance of a quick session comes up.

I have a fermenting bin of particles, now boiled, stewing away in the shed. About half have been blended down a bit, to free the juices and so as not to overfeed the fish. (see, I listen :) )

I have another bin of just boiled hemp, ready to mix with the particles soon.

My shed smells wonderful :D

Elton, you can also freeze small amounts for a session as you need them. If you make them into balls and include some fish oil or polysteryne (sp) balls into them and throw them in frozen you will see exactly where they landed by your balls or oil on the surface.

If you are fishing with a certain flavour of boilie then include some of that in your particles. If you are using Tigers place your nuts just outside the circle of particles, the little ones go strait in but the big uns feed from the outside in, if that makes sense.

Its been a while but it is coming back :)
