There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

"The family said they found the image comforting"

For crying out loud, they'd probably orgasm with a tub of Skippy peanut butter, then!

I dunno about the face of JC...........looks more like a bloke (on the left) doing something rather rude to a consenting kangaroo ('sfunny about my interpretation and your 'skippy' peanut butter comment Elton!)

LOL I see what you mean, but the kangaroo doesn't look 100% comfortable with the situation. I'm guessing it's his first time.

Perception, expectation and exploitation.

Perception because the human eye/brain are hard wired to search for paterns.

The patern might reveil a tiger in the long grass, a mugger in the shaddows or a "false positive" in the shape of a face in the randomness of the patern in the curtains or even the marmite on the lid of a jar.

Expectation because people will interpret any false positives in the light of their own belief system. They see Jesus and not Charles Manson, they see the virgin Mary and not some random lepper in a cowel and they see an alien where their counterpart a hundred hears ago might have seen one of the faery folk.

Exploitation because haveing interpreted randomness as an image, they want thie 15 minutes of fame and the possibility of selling the object of their delusion to the highest bidder on e-bay.

Interestingly, in cultures without portraiture, it's not uncommon for people to falsly believe that they can "see" the name of god written (in Arabic of course) in the seeds of an Aubergine or in the logo for a McDonalds ice cream.

Yeah, but I bet none of them have ever 'seen' a bloke giving a kangaroo a ham shank before.
