It cannot be that far. The furthest you can be from the sea in the UK is about 70 miles. I believe that the village/town that is furthest from the sea in the UK is Coton in the Elms, Derbyshire.

I am talking distances 'as the crow flies' not distances by road, rail, bicycle or mule train.

About 92 miles for me.

Meriden, Warks is the center of England and it's not that far from me.

My folks live aout 5 mins from the beach at Burnham on Sea.

its just down the road ....well the A31-A3-M25-M26-M20 plus little roads ....i know it is i left it next to the land this morning

Just measured, it's 66 feet from the front gate at MHWS and about 600 feet at MLWS :D:D
