I fish a local lake that contains some nice carp and bream, on the ticket it says no groundbait, no boilies, no nuts and no pulses.

 

Just out of curiosity, what is a pulse? Im probably being stupid but i cant think for the life of me what it is....any ideas?

Don't forget peanuts!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Dave, Wonna buy a 'as new' Concise Oxford Dictionary, I'll give you a good price, or you can try using a f.o.c. online dictionary. ;)

 

Just being funny I am, I didn't know what 'pulse' was in the context of fishing either, now I do. I don't use anything as sophisticated as pulse; around here its maggot, maggot & more maggot and if you've got a few bob to spare one occasionally splashes out on chopped pork or bacon sizzler.

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

ok thanks, i thought it might have been hemp but i really didnt have a clue ;)
