Nice one.

Like the Upstream Of Gt Yarmouth bit.

That covers most of the broads!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard rumours of big carp spotted in a few boat yards on the Waveney.

Hey, not by me folks! A friend of mine, lucky begger. The fellow is an out and out carper and has been after them since June! He's been constantly groundbaiting with maize. Have seen some good fish in the area, and they are big, like huge. Presumably uncaught till now. Trouble is the part of the river in question is being dredged this winter, urghh.

I can just about work out how you pitch a bivvy in a boat, but isn't it a bit dangerous when you get up in the night for a pee?

If you're Peter, you don't have to, mate - because the carp boys take the pi55 out of you, see?

They're kind to old newbies, yer carp angler.

Terry :D

And on the eighth day God created carp fishing...and he saw that it was pukka.

JonHedges:

Peter,

Why is the river being dredged and can't you stop it ??

Dont be daft Jon.

The EA HAVE to dredge it so all of the boat owners (mainly the commercial holiday hire boats) can have more access to the rivers without fear of their boats getting stuck.

SOD the fish who live there or the anglers who pay their licence fee each year to have decent stretches of a river ruined for life.
