Only ever tried it at sea. Just the once. It had an amazing effect!! We all caught nice pollack.

Next trip out? I didn`t use it. We all caught nice fish.

2 years ago. I fished a well know boat out of Weymouth. One of the fellow anglers was a boffin, telling us all about this new wonder attractant based on fish pheromones that they were manufacturing. Turns out that he was staying with the Bayzands in Lymington. The very same boat that is claiming improoved catches with this junk additive?

Lets be fair. Anything that attracts a fishes attention can be called a `superbait`?

I`ve caught wild brook trout on a small peice of fresh greasy bacon rind. It works!

Fish spend all their time looking for food. If something is a little bit different they`ll check it out? If it seems safe they`ll have a little nibble.

Bait additives are meant to catch the angler, not the fish!!

If Benson was caught 20 odd years ago on worm. Why do you now need a corn boillie,strawberry flavoured, covered in marmite, smoothered in Ma Bakers apron scratchings and sprayed in factor X to catch the sod?????

Benson has got you by the goolies!! He won`t even fight anymore!! He likes the latest icecream on the block!

i almost go along with you Spaser,,but archie bradocks stuff pulls fish withoght doooubt, and so does the unspeakable "sillybait" tried and tested, for many a fish, nuff said, "dragon"

Ultrabite emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm well I have the stuff "free sample pack of Carp" but still have no comment!!!!! for me it has done nothing, But I have "you know what" and it's working.

Tried "Archie Braddocks" addatives and they don't work for me, maybe its the waters I am fishing or maybe I am just hopeless, I dunno

From what I've been told the Sea variety is quite good.I hear a spot on some cloth,stuffed inside a swimfeeder works quite well too.The Pike and Carp stuff...I don't know anyone who has it so I couldnt possibly comment.

I haven't used it personally but a friend of mine used it for about 2 months and there was no difference in his bites

I can't comment on Ultrabite as I've never tried it.

 

However, I've done extensive head-to-head tests on Archie Braddock's flavourings and, from initially being an arch sceptic, I'm now a convert.
