Hi Emma,

... aimed at the masses, quality of acting and resemblance to real life are not a consideration.

I certainly do not waste my time watching the c**p and I am very simple dear

If you don't watch 'em how can you comment upon the quality of acting, or write them off as 'crap'? it can only be because someone else told you, why would you let someone else tell you what you like or don't?

If soaps are so close to real life then why does nobody ever go fishing?

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

They do,

'the Dingles' go fishing often. Terry and Rodney did a scene only a few months ago fishing (Emmerdale)

Les Battersby, and Martin Platt (Cornonation street) fished the canals in Manc.

I had no idea what you were talking about so I looked her up.

It seems that she is a fictional character from a soap "opera" (no singing apparently) and doesn't actually exist at all.

When I had a TV licence, I often found that I wanted to assault the various "sluts and nuts" that made up prime time viewing so I got rid of the problem by getting rid of the licence.

Much like the old folks giving up work, I find that between having a life, surfing the net, watching DVD's and the occasional programe on the i-player, I don't know how I ever found time for broadcast telly.

If watching the endless parade of tripe on TV is getting to you, may I commend the chuck-it option to you ?

You can afterall buy a lot of DVD's for £150.

For once Ken I am in total agreement with you... - shock - horror- ...hehehe

I have not watched a soap since I was 13 and read how the Government used the program the Archers to manipulate farmers and the way they farmed and then Mrs Dales Diary, then later I learned how the whole thought process and attitudes of a nation can be easily controlled and or influenced by fictional characters presented to the nation in their own homes.

Certainly can be seen to work just by looking around, a most successful and clever way of preventing people from actually noticing what a bunch of self serving grabbing individuals are running the country. Most younger people (under 50) often speak of soap actors and soaps as if they are real, which really cracks me up. Seems like soaps have actually managed to stop the majority of people from using their minds and actually thinking or considering anything.

Incidentally Emma I don't come from a middle class background nor at anytime in my life or even these days could I be considered middle class.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Emma. Not having a telly and not being a sports fan, my main contact with football is seeing it on TV abroad where it is always advertized as the EPL. Presumably the sponcorship deal only aplies to the UK.
