I just have to share this with you guys and gals. Caught my first ever Chub this evening....4lb 15oz and believe it or not, caught on the local canal. The evening was topped off with a 10lb 8oz mirror carp which fought like it was much bigger. All in all, a fantastic night and i'm well chuffed.

Wish I could say the same about my night. Just got back from my 8th blank in a row.

 

Well carp blank anyway. Funnily enough I also had a chub but on boilies, though not as big as yours. Congratulations thats quite a lump.

Well done, my first (real) chub was 4lb 8oz from my local River, which beat my old PB whatever it was.
