theres far more water about but hidden ,flooded mines (tin and coal) and those really big caves in south america are flooded yet very far down a fire from thousands of years ago was found (probably out now) but i agree freezers full of ice cubes and bottles of water must stockpile a great deal

 

of-course as there's less ice than the last ice age there must be more melted ice about ;) if we stock pile it then the sea wont rise as much as global warming scare mongers predict

No worries there, the IPCC has recently reduced the maximum amount of sea level change to a whopping 13cm (or 5" in proper money).

That's funny because the copy I have predicts a rise of 7.1 to 23 inches by the end of the century.

IPCC Fourth Assessment Report gives the maximum rise at between 10 and 20cm (4 - 8 inches) in 100 years (top of page 15), though they do say that other factors may lead to a higher increase.

 

For an average model, the scenario spread in sea level rise is only 2cm by the middle of the century, and by the end of the century it is 15 cm clicky
