Many apologies mate. I don't follow the sport , well not the male contingent anyway.

Hope he does well , but Mr Federer might have something to say about it.

first we had henmans hill now we have got murrays mount.

im sure the game with nadal will be a cracker.what i love about wimbledon is its most probably the only matches watched by brits, yet everyone becomes experts.qoute at work"yes murray has to work on his 2nd serve" from a chap who is rather obese and the nearest he gets to exercise is his wiii.

if murray wins wimbledon will the pitch get dug up by throngs of jocks (of which i am one).anyway i hope he goes all the way to the final its well within his capability.

Didn't watch it - can't stand golf.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

Not much "guts and determination" shown in his match with Nadal, the young Spaniard just rolled right over the Great British Hope.

He got beaten by a vastly better player. No shame in that.

Nadal and Federer, it has to be said, are in a league of their own. The difference between those two and the rest of the pack is incredible.

I watched the Match and got the impression that he gave up after the first couple of games.

His footwork and court position was all awry and his body language was that of a beaten man.

If think Henman would have at least tried.............................., but then he is English. ;)
