I have four loving daughters!

Number One bought me camo gloves - so the fish can't see my hands.

Number Two bought me a camo hat - so the fish can't see my head.

Number Three bought me a camo scarf - so the fish can't see my neck.

Number Four bought me camo socks - so the fish can't see my feet.

My wife, determined not to be left out of the joke, bought me camo boxers - so the fish can't see my :D !

Caught In Time DVD - another cracker from Miles and Yates. From what I've viewed so far it's better than his Secret Carp video, not as good as Passion For Angling (which will in my view never be beaten), but a cracking bit of viewing all the same. Nice to watch some pleasant summers carp fishing when outside it's grey and miserable! As this is one DVD in a potential series, hopefully they are cracking on with the next one!!!

Now then Hugh, will you be so kind as to release Passion For Angling on DVD? Thanks.

At a totally other end of film-quality is the "Ouseing Barbel" video my parents bought me. Not that it's bad viewing mind, in fact it's quite good. All filmed on a little hand-held digicam by "Rolling" Ray Walton and captures various barbel "names" - Steve Curtin, Bob Church and the likes, fishing at Adams Mill. Don't buy it if you are expecting the quality of Hugh Miles, but fun if like me you've caught the barbel bug!

A few books, some I'm sure they'll end up in Plumby's grubby mitts sooner or later :D ....

Discover Carp Fishing - Hughes and Crow - pretty good complete (as best a book can be) guide to carp fishing, sort of like an updated "Carp Fever". Might borrow some of their boilie recipes for my Barbel fishing, if I ever get time to go...

The Life and Times of Bill Quinlan (Little Egret Press). A cracking read if like me you are fascinated by the life and times of anglers past. Recommended!

John Bailey's Complete Guide To Fishing, which obviously isn't, otherwise it would teach you how to Wallis Cast

A Drennan Super Specialist rucksack. Not that I'll be chucking my old creel, but for days when I really can't force all my tackle into the old basket, this is the kiddy. Matches my super specialist "quiver" rod carrier too!

And some socks.
