all the shopping is done,the house gleams,had a holiday day today

 

just some baking to do tomorrow then its back to work Friday till tuesday....

Just got in with the last of the pressies (I think) and am contemplating a wrapping session after dinner.

Tomorrow, i have a proper go at buying food because i have the family descending on me for Christmas dinner - which will have an Italian twist.

Got the food shopping pretty much done this afternoon and I an delighted to say that I managed to track down a lovely 3Kg haunch of venison for Christmas dinner.

Also got a couple of free range capons and a couple of free range guinea fowl to back it up.

They had some pheasants in the Boucherie. 21Euro each :o When I was shooting we used to get 1.50 a brace from the game dealer.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Finished all my shopping too now; started collecting presents in January and only had a couple of bottles of wine to buy this week - unfortunately I've bought those particular presents 3 times now but somehow the contents always evaporated....

 

For our Christmas dinner we'll be having a mix of goose, duck and boar with a fair selection of veg and (of course) lots of stuffing 13.gif

blimey you lot are late ,all cards went as a batch on the 5th and presents were done months ago :o

we buy multiple small pressies for the G/kids and usually they are wrapped individually which is wasteful so this year they are thrown into a big box each which is wrapped and they can get on with it themselves

cheaper ,faster ,less rubbish to throw out :thumbs:

 

the cards envelopes are just printed on the printer saves all that tiring writing ,might get a stamp made for the inside scribble as well :hammer:
