have you ever hooked a fish but then lost it because of a little stupid mistake? do you regret it?

Once tried playing a good sized carp using just my top 3, not very wise. Thing was I was dropping in at my feet when the carp took off, the rest of my pole was behind me, just out of reach.

I won't be doing that again.

 

Are moth anglers those gimps that go prancing round fields with funny looking short handled landing nets by any chance. :D
