BUDGIE,

 

You need to "invent" the British version of the "power fish retriever". A friend has a couple reels he has addapted. Front drag. Where the rear drag would be (if there was one) he has installed a spring steel retrieval system. It is like the spring on an 8 day clock. It recovers about 30 yards of line per wind-up. The wind-up dial is where the rear drag dial would be. It applies "consistant" line pressure based on the setting of the front drag.

For me it would depend on the Extra's you get with it. I am all up for the extra's but Mrs Hawk might put me in the tube and fire me out to sea!
