Can't think of a bigger dividing factor among anglers than you, Peter!

"Carp puddles", "Fluff Chuckers", etc., etc.

I wouldn't want to be represented by someone who habitually decrys other forms of angling to their own.

But do I Jim? Swop decry for wind-up! And then look at your own signature.

For your information Jim, when I am asked to represent an opinion, or an interest other than my own I endeavor to be fair and personally impartial. I do have a sense of honour!

I don't, and won't live bait, but that didn't stop me guaranteeing a personal £1000.00 to a fighting fund when livebaiting was under threat on the Broads.

But I do draw the line the at some things, the Countryside Alliance being that one thing!

Oh, and by the way, I do enjoy a spot of fluff chucking, getting quite good at it, even though I do say so myself!

I even fish for carp. Actually bought, but please don't let on, a real carp rod the other day. Covered my face as I left the shop though.

Oh there's been some mighty worm-turning going on down Norfolk way, that's for sure. Please forward your recipes for humble pie to Mr. P. Waller, 'The Bivvy' (formerly 'Fickling's Fanclub'), Narfuk.'

Oh yes, it's a fine day for the Dark Side.

And on the eighth day God created carp fishing...and he saw that it was pukka.

He really did too. Someone managed to get a picture but I doubt we'll ever be able to prove it was him.

what i would add to this is this.

on monday i attended the fenland country fair. there were thousands of peoplle there, from all walks of life, but angling was not represented well at all. the PAC did put up a very good stand, but there was very little there from any other angling organisation, but the CA were there with a very slick stand, very well turned out.

if we cant manage a great bit of PR like attending one of these fairs, then i say let the CA take the initiative.
