groundbait throwing stick

Recommended Posts

I was watching the video on polaris float and at 1minute 30 the angler uses a throwing stick for putting out balls of groundbait at distance.

This one must have passed me by. I have seen them for throwing boilies but not for groundbait. I quite like the idea and it shouldn't be too hard to make something like it.

Any of you guys use one? Pros and cons?

The Pound Shop sells a plastic gizmo to dog owners who want to lob their balls towards the horizon. Basically a flexible stick with a cup on the end, shaped to hold a dog's balls. Replace dogs balls with balls of groundbait, simple!

A wet ball of groundbait the size of a tennis ball would weigh considerably more than said tennis ball though. Would the throwing device be sturdy enough to get any kind of distance or not just snap?
