Your Chance To Help My Business

Question: What would you possibly buy from me if I was able to supply it?

Okay, the question above is aimed predominantly at UK posters to this forum.

As many of you know, I went self-employed on July 1st this year. To say that it has been a struggle would be an understatement. I'm not going to whinge about it - I knew the risks.

However, I do want to do something about it. I want some money to pay the bills and I'd like to see my baby daughter from time to time. I've, basically, missed the first few months of her life.

So, to 'pad out' my question above, as a self employed person who has chosen to use mail order as a way of supplying goods, I'd be interested to know what you might consider buying from me if the price was reasonable. I already sell a range of modern day collectibles at http://www.collectorsgifts.com , but am prepared to turn my hand to almost anything if it is legal and possible.

My limitation is cash - because of an exceptionally bad start to my trading year, I can't go round waving tens of thousands of pounds in front of suppliers.

I would appreciate it if genuine sensible answers could be posted to this thread.

Thanks in advance,

Elton

I think that if I owned an angling site, especially one that is arguably the best in the UK,

was trusted and respected by the members of said site and that Christmas is just round the corner,

FISHING TACKLE springs to mind. I don't mean rods and reels, but stocking fillers that kids can buy (via Mum) for there Dads.

Having said no rods and reels, I would be interested in a telescopic rod with reel that would fit in a suite case for my holiday.

Don't let the fact that I live in Holland put you off, I would be happy to pay the extra post.

Good luck

Alan

Well don't know if this helps.

I'd love an on-line discount p.v.a surplier that was reliable.

A good army surplus on-line shop would also be handy. Some great stuff the angler could use.

i think mail order specialist food is a winner, interesting herbs and spices or chillis, spanish sausage, hard to get ingrediants. any site that can offer those would get my business! maybe a bit broad for you elton, but what i do need is a coleman petrol lantern, something like a northstar 2000

I have a whole load of Treasure Jests that I'm going to stick on eBay (just seems like a bad time to sell on there right now). I used to sell the whole range, but they didn't go as well as my other ranges, so I dropped them :(

Tight lines,
