Some well meaning people were teaching kids to fish outside my place, when the adults left them to it they got bored and started ripping up the bushes and plants that the council had just put in.

We phoned the police, they and the "civilian sort" arrived within 10 minutes and took the kids away.

These kids were in court within a week and are now spending X amount of hours a week helping the Council in there re-planting and maintenance work that goes on all year.

These vandals get some stick from there mates.

I do feel sorry for you all, at least we get what we pay for even though we are being asked to pay a little more (within inflation levels) and also have some cut backs.

There are 2 bedrooms, a study/3rd bedroom, a living room a kitchen and bathroom/toilet. Not too bad for £50 a week.

If I refuse to pay there would be an unpaid police presence, my landlord is the special constable for the island.
