What are they like microwaved?

You're right there, never have, never will, never spoke to anyone who ate one either. they were a bit of a fad years ago and i think its quickly fell out of fashion thankfully.

 

It might not have been exclusive to Scotland.

Working in the Sunderland area in the mid 90s, the chippie we went to had a whole range of chocolate bars he would deep fry in batter. Anything from a Curly Wurly to a cream egg. He would even 'cook' others of your choice if you brought it in yourself, (for a small charge). He told me that they sold quite well. Although I wasn't there long enough to see how long those customers survived.

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
