Hmmm, Boy George at 46, Sir Douglas Bader at 47, says it all really!

william wallace is a strange choice  did he do anything

unfortunatly our hero`s of the second war are written out of history as it may offend our "friends" the germans (dont mention the war) :D

it would have been easier to sub divide it into greatest scot, english ,welsh and ni person after all in royalist eyes cromwell was a traitor and in ireland a mass murderer :)

its a sign of the times that a minor celebrity singer /promotist comes above someone like jethro tull which changed peoples lives (no not THAT jethro)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Mathew 4:19

Grangers law : anything i say will  turn out the opposite or not happen at all!

Life insurance? you wont enjoy a penny!

"To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical." Thomas Jefferson

Bit late on this  but the top 100 is absolute pants - what about Turner (the painter) absolute genius, way ahead of his time (and a keen angler to boot). In fact the Arts are VERY poorly represented. No, Vaughan Williams, Betjamin for example. What other Brits can you think of which would be WAY ahead of the likes of BG....

Boy George? you`re joking. Cliff? He was born in India! Winston Churchill was a self seeking swine.

I would have put a couple of expletives after winston but this a familly show?

To my mind Brunell, Drake, Nelson, Stevenson,

Darwin and Raleigh all have a claim?

Whoever voted for David Beckham wants a brain scan? Just to see if they`ve got one!!!

Paul.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!
