Don't like the bit about more Bass being made available to commercials. I though we wanted sportfish only status for Bass.

The idea of the BMP Mike is to increase the stocks for one and all.

 

Hopefully other species will follow

If implemented in full there should be lots more 45cm bass about for all of us.

I dont supose the anglers that have campaigned for the BMP will be thanked by the commercials even when they are catching better bass.

The pair trawl fishery will benifit conciderably, the french fishermen will expliot the void in less than 45cm fish on our markets.

If the BMP exstended to 12 miles it would only be slightly better, all Europe perhaps worth doing.
