What Job Would You Do?

The job you currently do...........do you enjoy it?

I mean do you wake in the morning and actually look forward to going to work?

I like most people find my current job fairly boring and uninteresting and wouldn't mind a change. The money's good but it just no longer has the same appeal.

Given the choice I would love to work in anything to do with fishing/environment.

What would be your choice of career or what you would class as the ideal job for you?

Being retired, living on a lake further South and spending my time fishing with the guy I love. (Oh yeah, some days fishing with Newt, too - LOL!!!)

I haven't worked for five years, since having my second child.

I used to work in Logisitcs for Nokia in Camberley, I enjoyed it; the money was good and I was lucky enough to travel. I worked there for six years.

For spare cash I design jewellery, mainly beaded stuff.

I am also really in photography so may take this a step further in a few years when I think I'm good enough.

As for my ideal choice of career, I've always wanted to be a Potter. I have never tried it but that's always been my little day dream. Being a Potter in a sleepy little village on the coast of Cornwall..............oh to dream :P

I do! I run a fishery/nature reserve. The "work" is great, but the pay is non-existant!

Give it a go, it's fun.......

..... if you ever find anything that looks like this

it''s one of mine. :)

I only do it once a week at evening classes, I'd love to have a wheel at home but I'd be tripping over pots even more than I am now.

In answer to the original question, I'd like to retire and just go fishing and birdwatching.

Thi is rather similar to a recent thread on here...

I've spent the last two years doing referred fault diagnostics for a telecommunications company. Amazing when people who know me realise that I am a technological nonce!

Love the work, but for sure the quality of communication vertically is appalling.

As of next week, I become the Tenders Manager for a Healthcare company.

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

I love what I do.

I love getting up in the morning some times later than others.:)

I don't 'work' for a living, I 'work' for therapy otherwise I really don't think I would be here now.:(

Excellent! I collect pottery here and there so will have a look for your 'mark'.

I nearly bought a wheel on ebay a couple of years ago, but the kiln was too expensive. Also, I didn't have anywhere to put them, but wasn't really thinking about that at the time ....
