i'm pretty much sorted, in as much there isn't much i'd rather do, i get to travel and i don't have to wiork 5 days a week.

if we're talking fantasy job though, chef/restauranteur definately

Mmmmmmmmm food, the problem with being a chef is that unless your working for yourself it's bl**dy hard going. Imagine a Gordon Ramsey wannabe effin' and blindin' at you everyday of the week! - No thanks :o

Just got a new job today starting beginning of January, as a project manager doing aid and development contracts.

Bye-bye LUL and I'm back doing what I do best.

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.

Yeah, the hours are pretty s**t, great if you want to do it though. You should open your own up, a lovely little pub somewhere, homemade food - very cool.

I nearly bought a wheel on ebay a couple of years ago, but the kiln was too expensive.

I was advised some time ago that just for hobby usage a kiln is a better buy than a wheel.

Thinking about it later, the advice was almost certainly correct, it only takes a few minutes to actually throw a pot which I can do at evening class, and there are other ways of constructing pottery at home anyway.

The glazing and firing however is a very complicated and also quite a personalised subject and as such it would be nice to be able to take charge of that.

I have to leave the firing to the tutor and as such have no control over it other than what glaze I put on the pot.

It's unlikely that you will come across any of my pots, I hold snap inspections of all my relatives cupboards just to check they've still got their masterpieces. :D

The job you currently do...........do you enjoy it?

I mean do you wake in the morning and actually look forward to going to work?

I like most people find my current job fairly boring and uninteresting and wouldn't mind a change. The money's good but it just no longer has the same appeal.

Given the choice I would love to work in anything to do with fishing/environment.

What would be your choice of career or what you would class as the ideal job for you?
