I think Peter was after the camera settings Ian, as the exif that would tell us is not on the photos.

 

Nice clear shots though, nice stop action too I would expect an iso of 100 and pretty high shutter speed 1/1000 or faster and maybe f5 also...just a guess. :D

Well I got this at the weekend, having a good scratch, brownie points if you can correctly identify it.

Nearly, they are culling Ruddy Duck because of these.

I also got this nearby which should give the gane away!

Yes a spoonbill in fact we had a load of them this was the most interesting as it is a ringed bird.
